What this is

Isles Inventions builds a small, self-hosted dashboard that helps our household stay on top of its budget — bills, weekly spending, and savings — in one place. With the account owner's permission, the app securely connects to their bank through Plaid to import transactions automatically, so they don't have to enter them by hand.

It is a personal tool for our own family's use. We do not sell data or share it with advertisers.

How your bank connection works

• You connect your account through Plaid's secure Link flow — we never see or store your bank login.
• Plaid returns account balances and transaction history, which the app uses only to display your budget.
• The data lives on our own private server and is used solely for the account owner's budgeting.
